How the heck do i take them out? What tools will i need?

You need a Factory Service Manual mate.

Go to Pacific Manuals.com and buy a FSM. $7.95 as I recall.

The 1997 FSM has a nice TC presentation but your year will work.

You can watch this vid and go to time 20:00 it will tell you about the roll pin.

Ok sorry guys..i was frustrated earlier and couldn't search anything good from phone..sure enough, with a little patience, tapped in a #1 easy out and used a small crescent to slowly back out and pull up a half turn at a time..if you've got the patience it's cake..have housings in the parts washer now and going to be up tonight as long as it takes to rebuild it..i really appreciate it guys
