Default np242 clearance

This might be a stupid question but you don't know if you don't ask right?
Is there a safe/effective way to raise or tuck the infamously low np242 higher into the undercarriage for clearance? (with sye of course)...I want to get some t-case armor and want as flat a belly as possible.

Is this doable or am I trying to make a silk purse from a sows ear?

The only way I see fit would be to cut floor out re box in floor and then clock the t-case, sounds like way too much to do, i would go with some heavy duty armor.

Yea, after posting my thread I found a heavy duty t-case skid that raises the 242 5/8" and protects it. I guess I'll start savin'.
