Default NP231 Transfer Case front Yoke, and Seal

I was working on installing my AA SYE kit today, and when I took the Front Yoke off it let some ATF out the front. Is this a sign that the front seal is going bad? Should I replace the seal while I have the Yoke off? I have an NP231J on a 2000 XJ

It couldnt hurt to replace the seal while your there, they are cheap. But even with a good seal, I would expect a little fluid to come out when you remove the yoke.
