hey guys does anyone have pics link or video on how to change your tcase fluid because i have never done it on a jeep so i wanna be 100% that im doing it right

all you do is unscrew the drain plug (bottom plug) till it runs almost out...then plug it back up and take the filler plug (top plug) and fill it up till the fluids come out or 2 pints

for example, I had to use a breaker bar and a lot of force to get the fill plug off my tranny, but just used the socket wrench to get the drain plug off.

No....

It's so that if there is a problem with the fill cap.. you haven't drained the fluid out of the T-case without a way to fill it back up.

really...why would it do that? just curious about it? i just never had a problem so i never encounter this yet lol

who knows. first time i've changed it since i bought it, so i dont know how long its been since that plug has moved, or who might have over tightened it.
