Does anyone know the part number for the np231 rear output shaft seal? I bought one from O'rileys and it was too small, and I called the dealership and they couldn't find it so they told me to take it off and get the part number but this is my only vehicle so I can't take it off and drive it there. Any help is greatly appreciated!

 

Well I tried to help you out but it seems that nobody has a clear cut part number for it. I have the tail housing on my bench at home. I'll see if I can pull a number off the seal but it's pretty well chewed up.

 

No numbers that I can see. The rubber is GONE. Wish I could be more help.

 

Go get the one from napa I did this mine about 2-3 months ago the autozone one was right but too loose. The napa waa tight and no leak but I can't remember the part number off hand
