Where could my transfer case be leaking from? Or how could i find out

 

It can leak from any number of locations. Tail shaft housing, main housing, speedo gear, etc. there are no gaskets on these. They are sealed with silicone rtv. So if it is leaking from somewhere, odds are its easy to fix. I have mine on my workbench as we speak. Check the o-ring on the speedo gear too.

 

I just dont want too pull it back out lol it was a pain.

 

Got a flashlight and reasonable eyesight? Wipe it down. Go for a drive. Look at it.

 

Its 25 outside right now. Supposed to be 80 next week ill check it out then
