Default NP-242 Rebuild Advice - Blind Hole Bearing

So after f***ing up the blind hole bearing on the rear case half, I tried using a die grinder to cut it out and took off quite a bit of the housing. Will it be okay or should I buy a new rear housing? 😕

That's a hard call. If it were a customer's car, it would get another case. Mine? I'd slap some JB weld in the hole and sand it smooth.

That was my first thought, just don't want it to crack if I've altered the structural integrity of the case somehow. :/
