Default noticed something strange today

i was looking at my jeep today and it looked like it was sagging on the passenger side. i also noticed when i was driving down the road it seemed like it was leaning. so at work i parked the jeep inside on a flat surface and measured both sides of my front and rear bumer. the passenger side was a 1/4 in lower than the drivers side. i also measured a co-workers tj and it also sat about 1/4 in lower on the passenger side. my jeep is a 2000 xj with a 3 in lift and the tj is a 2004 with a 2 in lift (if that helps any) so is this normal?

1/4 in are you serious.

Don't worry about it anytime you lift a vehicle they will have slight variations in height on all the sides.

On a side note tell you are your buddy to date skinnier women.

LOL couldn't help myself.

I have a Rough Country 3in lift kit and I have a 1 inch droop on the drivers side.

I was being sarcastic with the 1/4in as in Don't worry about a 1/4in dude.

Add an extra coil isolator or something if it bugs ya.

If I had to make an educated guess on why yalls sag a hair on one side. If you didn't adjust the track bar or what not it will pull your axle more driver side and may give your lift the appearance of a small sag on one side.

That's how Cherokees are once you lift them they pick a side they want to lean to and that's where they stay. There is a big thread about it on jeep forum and it seems no one can figure out why.

lead foot....

the torque puts alot of strain on the passenger side springs.... well if you have some power that is!

At least with the passenger side being lower, it would level out or even go beyond that with the weight of just the driver.

Many cars have this dialed in from the factory. I would not be surprised to find out that Mopar has been doing this. They have been doing it for many decades.

Although with a lift kit, you got lucky choosing which side the components went on.

This is exactly it. On TJ's, Rough Country makes one spring stiffer for the passenger side. Not too sure why they dont do it for XJ's too....
