Not sure how to fix...
About a month ago I bought an 88 Cherokee for $500.00. It ran rough but after an oil change it sounded much better. I changed out all the plugs, wires, air filter, alternator, starter, and serpentine belt. I also changed out all six injectors and the exhaust started spiting black smoke. Also after about five minutes the engine idles at 100 to 200 hundred rmp and sometimes dies. I replaced the o2 sensor and re-set the computer so I think it is something simple I just don’t know what. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Joel.

I have not tried that. I will though, I also thought about cleaning out the throttle body and mabey puting a spacer in there.
