Im looking at a 1997 grand tsi package fully loaded.... The Good: It runs and drives great has plenty of power and shifts great... The Bad: the power steering lines leak , trans cooler lines leak and it needs a water pump and it shows coolant level sensor bad and low coolant ( probally from the water pump leaking) .....$4000 is the bottom dollar he would take for it.... Is it worth it and are those things i mentioned easy to fix... Im pretty mechanicly inclined... Need opinons ASAP

How many miles? 4000 isnt a bad deal depending on mileage, and other issues it my have. The waterpump is really a breeze to do.. Specially if you have some experience. The coolant sensor bad/low coolant level is one of two things it could be just the coolant resavor jugs sensor is out or the water pump is causing the low coolant.. I have a 97zj and whenever that light comes on i top off the resavor and shes good.. The sensor is one of two the on in the resavor or the coolant temp sensor by the t-stat...
Its got 132,000 on it.... I have checked every thing out and these are the only problems it has

Not a bad price for 132k i payed 4000 for mine it had 220k... Though it has tow package front to back skids and all leather interior. Have had her since 07 and shes only at 266k now
Alright thanks for the info.. I go get it tommrow ... Post some pics of it soon... It already had a 3.5 inch skyjacker lift and 255/75/17 bfgoodrich mud tarrians on jk wheels

Well that sounds like a beaut. Kinda wish mine had a lift.. Soon ill be doing a 2"BB since i dont go crazy with it just light trails and mud.. Than will stuff some 30-31" on her
