Hey, went to go to work today and the Jeep won't start up. No cranking at all. Figuring it might be the starter, but I don't know. Coming here first. Anything I can do to make sure it is the starter, and not something else? Everything else seems to be getting power fine.

 

try starting in neutral if it does its the n.s.s., if not probably starter time

 

So she starts up fine in neutral.

 

My zj did this last night. Come to find out my starter ground wire came loose from the battery terminal. Simple enough. Maybe start with things like that. Its free and easy anyways

 

So, seeing as it starts in neutral, I'm assuming it's the P/NPS. Any tips on anything to do with it?

 

u can score a n.s.s. from ebay cheap. there is a bunch of threads of here about cleaning the n.s.s. I cleaned mine and it still sucked, scored a new one from ebay for like 45. Runs great.
