Not again!
okay so if you didn't know i had a 98 Cherokee Sport (RIP) with a problem where the airbag light was on all the time. i now have a 99 limited and last night the airbag light came on for about 8 seconds...i know the problem in my old Jeep was a clockspring because the horn didn't work. but in my new Cherokee the horn and cruise both work...does this mean i still have a failing clockspring? or is it some other little gremlin that i need to find?
Cheers

It is normal for it to stay on for 8 Ish seconds after starting or key on. If it came on while driving and went off then the situation is "corrected" I am not sure if it would have saved the code in the Ecm or not. but that's really the best place to start, If its off I would wait until it comes on and stays on.

Pretty sure both issues are normal. It says in the manual that Cruise control only works after a certain speed and the airbag light will stay on for a few seconds after start-up.
