Exclamation Noob with a problem or two!!!

Hey there guys I am pretty new to the Jeep thing. I have had my XJ for a little over a year and have not done a whole lot to it except for put new wheels and tires on it, change the radiator from the OEM plastic one to the aftermarket metal one, replaced the hydraulic arms for the hatch, sealed up the aftermarket moon roof, and fixed a ground problem with the gauge cluster. Other than that I don't really know too much about em. Right now I have two problems facing me. The first is that I have a leak in my transmission coolant lines. It has that little yellow crappy piece of plastic at one end that holds it together and I think that is where the leak is from. Does anyone have a cheap and reliable way to fix these things? The second problem is that every now and then (more frequent as of late) my jeep seems like it is fuel starved when I first fire it up and drive somewhere. Anyone know what is going on and how to fix that? I appreciate it guys. Thanks!

you can push the coolant line back into the bushing and it shouldn't leak..

The trans cooler fittings- I've just cut them off and used a piece of flex hose and clamps to reconnect the lines. Or are you talking about the fitting that goes into the radiator cooler?

Before starting your jeep, turn the key to ON, count to 5, turn it back off. Repeat. Repeat.
See if that changes anything. They tend to develop bad check valves that cause rail pressure to fall off after they sit awhile.
I'd also get a FP gauge and check the fuel pressure, could be a failing pump or regulator too.

I was thinking about doing exactly that, replacing the section with the fittings with flex hose and clamps. Did not know if that would work well. I will try it. I will also try your other suggestion and get back to you on how it works. Thanks a lot.
