noise from right front

Default noise from right front

ok when i drive down the road and hit a bump or driving thrue a parking lot with ice chunks in it i hear a clunk from the right front climbed under it and had some help and didnt see anything moving with the stearing so im not sure but i did see that the stock sway bar links are bent cause i havent gotten my extended links yet could this cause my problem

next time your down there grab your exhaust (when its cool of cousrse) and wiggle it see if its loose or has been rubbin anywhere.... also grab your front axle u-joints and wiggle them (not your drive line but the ones in the axle) there shouldn't be any slop in those at all...

ok checked both and nada ujoints are new and the pipe is not hitting and it sounds like its coming from the right front tire area

how is the bushing on the axle end of your trac bar?

how are your control arm bushings or your spring isolater?

lower and upper controll arms bushings are good but the right isolator is junk the metal ring in it has rusted out and split it wode open so is what you are saying is that is my problem

ok thanks im going to buy 2 new ones the one on the drivers side looks great but ill just change them both and could the sway bar not being in the right place also be helping the knock as well

way better,they wont rought or collapse like rubber,you can get them from Quadratec or 4WD Hardware,they are 3/4 of a inch thick or .75 thick.

I have two .75s stacked on mine,one replaces the stock isolater,one is for the extra lift.I got mine from EnergySuspension.
