at first i'm sorry for my english..
i have xj from 1993 2,5 with chrysler 8,25 rear axle with cone type lsd ( i don't have clutch plates) and I have a problem with that
After maby 20 miles of drive, when the oil in axle is really warm, I hear the bumping noise from rear when I turn left or wright with speed from 10 to 20 km/h. When I drive faster and turning the rear axle is quiet. I changed the oil to 75w140 with lubricant for lsd from crown. I have nothing found in axle when I changed the oil.
Anybody have idea what is the problem ? The locker is working ok, I have problem only with the noise.

Check all your rear suspension connections, make sure nothing is loose. Sway bar may be the issue because you hear it turning left/right.

Other than that, may be check outer bearings on the axle tubes. Sorry but random noise like that is really hard to diagnose.

You need to add friction modifier. Its about 10 bucks for a tube,
