Hello, I have 1999 Cherokee with a 4.0. I did a water pump, thermostat, and belt last week, started it bled the system. Than I rinsed off the engine, All is going well, than the jeep stalled 10 minutes later.
I changed the cps, cleaned every wire connection under the hood, and checked the distributor cap. Still no Start.
I do have spark at the coil but not at the distributor.
Please any help will be great, thank you.

But I want you to do me a favor disconnect your negative battery terminal and ground It on your frame for a hour once that is done cycle your key 3 times on off on off on once it is on you cell should flag let me know the number of flashes they will be seperated by a pause. Now it is getting fuel and cranking right just not spark right?

If that doesn't work get some pb blaster and take off rotor and dust cap and can sensor spray a little in there let us know maybe someone else will chime in to with similar issues now the auto shutdown and fuel pump relay you did check right?

Change the coil? Even with a junk yard one. How did you check the relays? Fuses are easy since you can see if they are blown or not. Get a 100 MPH leaf blower and blast everything in case any water is in something causing a short. As mentioned reset the computer. But if you are getting fuel and spark as far as the coil I'm leaning towards that being bad.
