what black wires do I jump?,
If you are going to get another one from the pickNpull anyway I wouldn't bother trying to figure out which connections are A, B, C etc. I would just go under the Jeep and find the 2 black wires that are going into the NSS and cut them and loop them together. All the wires below the electrical connector will be changed when you get the replacement NSS anyway so no big loss and gets it over with

Here's what I did.
That grey is tape I pulled off. You can see the paperclip I used (I cut it to size) to jumper the B-C pins.
I taped it off so it does not contact any ground. The jumper is on the connector going to the switch.
Be sure it really does make the jump. I used a multimeter to check continuity on the pin side before putting the connector back together it to be sure it was connecting. At first it didn't make connection, wasn't pushed in deep enough. Pushed it in deeper. Done deal.
Really easy solution. The reverse back up lights may not work so be aware of that. Mine don't. Easy bypass until or if I get to cleaning up my NSS. Hope this helps

Don't feel bad. I by-passed mine 5 years ago and it's still that way

The rate I'm going, mine will probably stay that way too. Have other more important things to put my $ to fix on my Jeep right now.
Glad the picture helped. I was confused with jump this, cut that, etc. When actually do it, so simple.

as per previously stated I will post my results. after getting temporarily stuck in a parking lot, made it home and did the jump, which was surprisingly simple. gonna have to work till i get a replacement to rebuild, hopefully it wont be too long.

thanks again for all the help.
CF rocks.

Only takes a couple or 3 hours to remove, clean (quickest part to do),and reinstall yours. Why buy another?

its a 14 dollar part at PnP and i like to learn, so if i buy one i can take my time rebuilding it.
that and this is a DD, the grocery getter, really dont want it to be down for too long, like, if something went wrong or whatnot.

because. that's why!
