No start?!? HELP!!!
Alright so I wont keep any info out.... Basically I went mudding, submerged the beast, cleaned it, and everything worked. A week later now the battery was totally toast, so I replaced that. Checked alternator and starter, both were fine. Now my car doesn't start consecutively. If I start it once in the morning it will turn on, but once I shut off and go to turn on again, nothing, no clicks or anything. HOWEVER, I can connect a wire straight from battery and tap starter with it and it will turn right on like nothing ever happened and I can do this however many times I want and it will start immediately like it has all new electricals. Help please!!!

Howdy, an welcome! ok.......what gauge wire are you connecting from battery to starter?
2. Are you touching starter with a neg cable from batt?
3. Are you touching starter with a pos coble from batt?
methinks your battery terminal cables need to be replaced.
Both of them.
not that big of job, takes a about 30 minutes to do it right.
take off and clean ALL the grounds in the engine compartment.
let us know, thats my 2 cents worth of info for you sir! Hope it helps!

the only reason I am leaning to battery cables is because you submerged it an just the wear and tear of ordinary jeep use there is somplace in the batt cables somewhere where water got into it(between wire and insulation) and is still wet and if there was ANY pre-existing corrosion you had within cable (inside insulation where you cant see), you more than likely have more now.
good luck!
