Default no start...a few different posibilities

hasnt run in about 3 days, hasnt moved in about a week. jeep is a 91

last week one of the tranny cooler lines right over the steering box started to leak realy badly, barly made it home, next day there wasnt enough fluid to move it. now there wasnt enough fluid to help me find which line was leaking so i needed more fluid but at the time didnt have cash, so there where some other things i had been meaning to do so in the meantime i did those

1st- let m explain, the PO towed the jeep behind an RV with an additinal trailer behind the jeep, so it had some aftermarket plug ins on the bumpers to power the brake lights on the jeep and trailer from the RV, i smash these plug ins on something or another everytime i go wheeling so it was time to get rid of them... i simply cut out the wires running from front to back, that wire went up into the LR quarter and anoter came out to the plug to the trailer (but isnt factory one) so i just cut em out and didnt think more of it.

2nd- i had found a newer than mine distributor cap and spark plug wires in the jy from a 90 cherokee.. when i pulled them i took pics and checked the contact points (they looked better than my curent) before changing them i took pics and checked my repair manual for the order so its not that.

my 91 has a hard start (10-15 sec cranking with alittle gas) so after doing these 2 things in order i went to start it, all the lights and door and seat belt buzzers came on like normal but the starter motor didnt even crank.?

so i put the old cap and plug wires back on and same thing,, dam!!so it was dark and that was the end of that day, and didnt get a chance to do anything else until today where i tryed to fix the towing wiring that i dont think is related but is another story altoghether

so what im thinking, contact points are worn and probably contribute to the rough start but i dont think thats it, could it have somthing to do with it?... the aw4 dosnt start unless in park or neutral, would the fluid level affect that to make it not start even when it is in park? could my starter have just coincedentaly died right now to? when i cut my towing wires could i have just caused a short or bad ground, i dont think that would affect my main problem.
is there another possibility?

thx in advance all help apreciated

Start by checking ALL your fuses. You can rule out the actual starter being bad by using a wrench or screw driver to jump the solenoid post to the power post on the starter.

today i checked the fusese and they are all good, and i checked the starter, however i dont have a meter so i cant check the volts, and it didnt start..

i know it could very well be the starter, iv been looking for info on the aw4 online to see if its the fluid level that could be making it somehow not know its in park or neutral,,
my searches were spamed with other aw4 problems, but i did find a pdf manual, and for too long it woldnt load and when it did it was very incomplet, my repair manual also dosnt have this scenario in the trouble shooting or the specifics of what im looking for.

so what im looking for is information on how fluid level relates and affects the park and neutral on an aw4, and a new starter

thx
