no start after motor swap

ive finished up my motor swap and now i have no spark and no pulse to the injectors what could cause this motor is a 96 4.0 in a 91 Cherokee

grounds not hooked up by the dipstick?

Yep, could be that for sure.

CPS plugged in? Did you change distributors?

all the grounds are good cps is plugged in and im using the distributor off my old motor

Did it cranking? Make sure all wires hook up right, did u swap engine that has a starter in, if not try swap starter from 91 to 96 that all i can think of good luck

Did you swap all the connectors from the 91 to the 96. 91-95 H.O have different connectors then the 96+ OBDII. No spark/fuel pulse, leads me to think CPS, possible it got bumped while installing the engine.

i didnt do that good info but im checking for spark off the coil

Well, if that dizzy isn't in right, it ain't gonna start. Worth double checking.

And if the CPS isn't producing a signal, it ain't gonna cycle the injectors either. Worth double checking.

Sounds like some double checking is in order. It'll get fixed quicker out there working on it than spending time at the keyboard.

my buddys das is a mechanic him and a cupple guys from his shop looked at it everythings hooked up right they tested the cps and said it was fine but it still wont start

cleaned all my grounds checked the cps and still have no spart
