I have a 93 cherokee 4.0. It turns over fine but will not start. Now here's what happened. I was wheeling last week and went through some high watter and got stuck. Engine died in water and now will not start. I'm getting fuel and I've changed plugs and wires, Dist cap and rotor button, and ingition coil, still no spark???? I'm at a loss I can't figure it out any sugestions would be great. Thanks

 

are you getting Fuel Pressure? you may have trashed your CPS.

 

i've got fuel pressure just no spark

 

are you getting a signal to the injector's?

 

I would check the CPS, they dont like water.

 

i had a fusible link go on my 95 xj i just cut it out and replace with a in line fuse

 

update guys my CPS was just hanging broke lose from the bracket so I'm about 99% sure that would be my problem lol

 

another update the jeep is ALIVE....was the CPS but I fixed it and now it runs again thanks for the help guys it was greatly appreciated
