Default no spark

Ok I have a 91 cherokee 4.0l that the computer went out so I replaced the computer with same OEM number. Cranks but no spark. fuel pump operates also. traced it to the ignition coil so I pulled it off and it had some big cracks in the housing so I replaced it with a newone and still nothing past that point.
Was a daily driver to that happened.

I tested the connector to the Ign. coil 12V on the positive but on the neg. it reads around 47 ohms for 10 sec. then goes to zero. Is this a normal reading?

Also would using a screw driver to touch the plug wire post that goes to the distributer cap to the engine for a spark damage the Ign. coil?

on older cherokees its very common the wire get hard and brittle either ground out to engine or breaking

Ok it appears the crank sensor has been replaced, did an ohm reading but not sure what it should be.

Tested it as Jeep forum said to. set my meter at 2k ohm tested terminals B-C was reading -739, A-B= 0, A-C= -1182. According to that it could be faulty. Any thoughts? but like I said it "looks" like its new.
