my 98 4.0 wont start and i checked the spark plug wires for spark... nothing, i took off the distributor cap and checked there for spark... nothing.

what could be the culprit? (i accidentally posted this in grand cherokee tech)

there is a set of test's to preform to determin what is wrong. A service manual is your best friend.
May be coil, cps, or as simple as a loose connection.
