Hello I haven't visited the forum in quite sometime... I am trying to revive my 96 xj sport. Some time ago I parked it, it ran perfect. The next day I hopped in it and it refused to start. After sitting for awhile I've decided to attempt to bring her back to life. Sooooo... It turns over but there is no spark. I've replaced the CPS... But it was a fairly cheap one. Also, when I hook my scanner to it it says connecting and never connects. I tested the scanner on a few other vehicles and it reads it fine, just not my Jeep. Could this a sign of a bad ecu? Where should I start?

Edit- I get power inside and lights light up, windows roll up...etc.
