Default No power to starter solenoid

Hey guys been trying to figure this out without making a post but with having to be moved here in a couple weeks i gotta get my jeep going, its a 98 4.0 2wd. turn key dash comes on, all hvac controls and blower works no crank just brake light on dash lights up. when key is turned not getting power at solenoid wire. The starter relay under the hood gets a full 12 volts when key it turned, ive tried swaping in new relays but still nothing. It doesnt start in Park Neutral or any gear for that matter. checked the fuse in the kick panel and that is also good, battery is new, cables are new starter is new. any idea why or whats causing power loss from the PDC thew the green solenoid wire.

Have you tried bypassing the relay?

Default Starting problem

Fuse # 19 in junction block, Fuse 10 in power distribution center. Witch wire do you have power at relay? there should be two. 1 should have power all the time fuse 10, the other should have power in start position fuse 19.

You mean running a jumper wire down to the starter? No but I assume it would would since pin 86 on the pdc is getting power at key turn, i just didn't want to have to always have it jumped/bypassed

Does it start if you have the key on and jump the starter with a screwdriver?

Yes it does the but I'm assuming that's because the other terminal is getting a constant 12v from the battery

when i replaced my starter i used a new long wire from the start terminal on the starter.it reaches near the batt. i then pulled the original start wire up there out of the loom and tied the 2 together with a good wire nut. so it works exactly as original, but i can easily jump that wire to the batt to do an ez jump, no fumbling in the dark with a screwdriver!
i get a nss check light but it all works fine?
till i clean the nss, if i have start trbl, im ready, might add a push button!!

If that works then decide to clean or replace the switch.

When my 94 wouldn't start it was first, the ground right next to the battery. Then, the neutral safety switch went bad.
If yours runs by jumping the starter, clean the battery ground and test the neutral safety switch.

Pin 30 or 87 should have power also. all the time. One of those two are coming from fuse #10 30A in the PDC the other one goes to the starter solenoid.
