Default no power locks

Hi all, first post. Just bought a 2000 cherokee tonight and need a little help. The only thing i find wrong with it is the power locks dont work. I pushed the key fob lock and nothing. the fob was tested at autozone and they said its transmitting. so i open the door and try the drivers side power lock switch, nothing. try the passenger side, nothing. I checked the 2 fuses in the passenger side kick panel and they are both good.

Whats the next step to solving this issue?

thanks.

i'd take off the door trim and grab the multimeter and see if you're getting power to the switches. if the wires are getting power, but switches dont work, get new switches. if wires aren't getting power, you've got a problem between the fuse and the switch, probably a worn out wire. my guess is if it's a worn out or disconnected wire it's at the door hinge where the wires may actually move.
