Default no heat after using radiator stop-leak

Quick question: I didn't have time to pull my radiator last weekend so I took the easy way out and fixed the leak with stop-leak. It stopped the leak, but it also stopped the heat. Should I just start wearing a coat, or could this be a sign of some clog that's going to do worse damage?

Thanks!

it may have clogged up the heater core or the valve that sends the coolant to the heater core.

that crap is gonna clog everything.........flush it asap and fix your leak properly.

just imagine what those little flakes are doing to your thermostat, water pump, and radiator. it will even take out waterpump bearings.

Dont know how many of you have actually open up a radiator and rodded it out. Not as easy to do with these new style rads, but with the old style one.. you could remove the top and bottom tanks, and use a thin piece of metal (I always used moddified dip sticks), and stick them through the rows. Cars that have had stop leak used always had buildup of crud, that was hard and a PITA to get out.

More then likely it got into your heater core and got stuck. Now There is real now way to get it out, or fix it short of heater core replacement. If that is waht happened.
