No Heat
Hello get no heat from my 98 Cherokee had the stat replaced and new coolant now the tech says the blender door are not working also wants to replace the heater core is this correct

My heat wasnt blowing hot air just warm, so I started to read on the forum and a few guys had a similar problem, so I flushed my heater core and as soon as I did it, it started to blow hot air, so tried try that, thanks to the guys on this forum I was able to fix it so try it.

You would absolutely want to verify blend door operation FIRST.
If that works well, then the heater core should be flushed before replacing. Replacing is a major job which if you do not do yourself, will cost you a bunch of money.
I try flushing heater cores first with garden hose pressure, both through the inlet and the outlet. If that fails, I try the CLR method. You have nothing to lose if you are sure it is the heater core as replacement is the only other option. Here is a link.
