No headlights or tail lights
I changed the headlight switch, harness and put in a heavy duty wire harness with a fusable link to take away some of the load off the switch because the old one melted the switch and plug and killed all the lights. This set up worked fine for a month, now the head and tail lights are out everything else works.Fuse and relay check good,i tested for power going to the headlights at the original headlight plug and there isn't any.

The headlight switch is what would the first thing i would check. Might have gotten a defective one, or the problem that took out your old one is acting up again. Possibly a wire grounding out somewhere.

After checking the fuse and relays i picked up another switch, still no lights.I pulled the dash off before looking for burnt wires but didn't see any maybe i missed something, i'm not good with electrical stuff. What color wires should i pay close attention to,i'll pull the dash again if i have to and start peeling tape off wires all the back to the fuse box unless there's another way to approach this. Can anyone that knows electrical stuff more than i do, which might be almost everyone else give me a step by step approach to this problem
