No gauges and wont run!
just bought a 99 cherokee sport for the winter
boosted it off battery(battery in it is screwed) to get it started and ran good and drove it home from a neighbours place where i bought no problems. Parked it in my driveway and used a battery charger next day with boost mode to get it going.
now i can get it to run if i give it gas but as soon as i let off it dies and need to boost again, and while running rpm oil press voltage dont show on cluster
Ive read up on cps but i'm not sure if the boost charger shorted it but its not throwing a code like most cps issues seem to have
any help is appreciated

Sounds like you need a battery... The alternator is prob not pushing enough juice out at low rpms for eveytgung that's demanding power. That's why the gauges are freaking out.

If the battery is bad enough, it will never gain the charge needed to keep it running and you will just have to drive using both pedals and shifting to neutral at stops. That is a scary and fun skill to use lol. If you don't want to buy a new battery right away, just swap another battery in and see if your problem persists.

hope you shook on that one
battery solved all my problems
so is the alternator not enough to run these things?
theoretically you should be able to run a vehicle without the battery once started correct?
thats why i looked past it i guess but problem solved!
