Model: Cherokee (XJ)

i have a 1998 Jeep Cherokee XJ and none of my gauge needles are working. Backlight works fine, all dash notification lights work, but the needles will not budge. I tried the fuses, i cleaned the two connectors under the dash, did the self check with the trip odo and key and the lights did their dance but gauges still wouldnt move, and have checked for shorts. Came up with nothing. Got anything for me?
