While I was unplugging the RKE it reminded me of another problem I have its intermittent but it may be a related side effect.
The dome light doesn't always turn off when I start up the Jeep sometimes staying on for a few minutes into my drive. The switch is fully functional when I open the door the light comes on, when I shut the door it goes right off and or when I press the switch, unless I use the RKE then it stays on maybe something going on with the delay.
