Default No Electrical Power

My 88 Cherokee died going down the road and hasn't regained electrical power since. Prior to this, it would die in reverse, but when you shifted past reverse quickly it would run, but die going down the road. It would regain electric power and restart immediately, then it progressed to taking a couple of minutes to regain power, then longer and longer until it wouldn't regain power at all. (This progression took one week.) The battery was tested and is at full power. The lights all work. I changed the Ignition Switch 3x. I replaced all cables, cleaned all connections and checked all grounds. I replaced the Neutral Safety Switch and Starter Relay. All fuses and relays are good. There is power going to the fuse box, but no power going back under the hood. Starter works when I put a screwdriver between it and the solenoid. All fusible links are good. Has anyone had something similar? Thanks!

Lookup cruiser54, he has a link to 25 tips on renix jeeps(yours) that will help troubleshoot. Those years have a lot of ground points to check and clean, plus the good old neutral safety switch.

Replaced ALL cables?

Did you fry the computer?

Is your PDC (power distribution center) melted?
