No A/C, Interior Cooling Ideas!!

No A/C, Interior Cooling Ideas!!
Hi, my XJ came with no a/c and I relocated the alternator to were the a/c compressor should be. The interior gets really hot and I do not have floor carpets, I have consider a few things like a roof scoop and bed lining(rinoliner, herculiner,etc) the interior floor, I live in Puerto Rico and the sun is hitting us all year and the temps inside the XJ could easy reach 120F. I need ideas or products out there that could insulate or vent out the heat, Thanks.

Sound deadening material and a vinyl floor. The sound material acts as a noise/temperature barrier and the vinyl floor allows you to wide up dirt and mud. From what I have heard rhino lining the floor will not keep the heat out. You need to put some sort of insulation down for that.

Engine: 4.0 with all of the noise and clatter
Wire up a 1500 watt inverter to power a small window mounted A/C unit, the kind you would see in a home. It will look crappy, but you'll be nice and cool.
