Default No Brake lights including 3rd light

I have a 1998 Cherokee XJ. I already replaced the brake switch figuring that was the problem but it wasn't. Fuses all look good under the hood and in the passenger kick panel. What else should I look for?

Thanks.

You should have a little bit of adjustment (not much) on the brake switch. Just something to look at.

To test the switch to see if it is good or adjusted correctly.

Leave the BL switch connected & remove it by twisting & pulling. This will activate your brake lights IF everything else is good & the switch is NOT adj. properly.

This is exactly what I had to do to get the new brake light switch to work. Thank you!!I remove the switch and the lights turned on. Knew right then I had to re-adjust the switch.

You are welcomed.

I did this every morning so I'd have running lights on the way to work. When I got to work I had to replace it. This went on for MANY weeks until I got tired of doing it & fixed my dead running lights issue.
