No brake lights

No brake lights

On my 90 xj brake lights would come on when I would first touch them but applying more pressure to the peddle they would go off. Siting at a stop light no brake lights. I replaced the brake light sensor on the pedal and now I have nothing. Any ideas would be awesome so I don't have to do the 10mi ride to work on a bike and have my jeep towed to a shop

I ripped off the small blue wire!!!!! thats the problem. May have been the cause of it not working properly in the first place. 25 year old wires have to love them
