Default No Brake Lights.

Why wont my brake lights come on? I changed the bulbs and checked the fuses. Those are fine. The rest of the lights on the jeep are working except the brakes. I heard it could be the relay or the fusible links but, I can't find anything that says relay goes to what and the same with the fusible links. Please, if anyone has any ideas, let me know. Thanks.

Until more useful info shows up...I think there is something to detect that the brake pedal is depressed, like a button or something. It should be by the pedal, and you could also check for shorts in the wiring.

X2 on the brake light switch. Loose, broken or just needs adjusted. It's easy to find, just follow the brake pedal lever. The switch has a little button that contacts the lever when the brake pedal is in the resting position. When you depress the brake, there should be full extension of the button. Maybe even a little slack between it and the lever.

just replace the brake switch they arnt a whole lot and they do go out every once in awhile that will narrow down the search. if you want back probe the connector and check for power going out and in the switch

basically get a test light and ground it then check for power at pin 6 (Pink/Dark blue) then push the switch in and check pin 5 (WhiTe/TaN)
