Default No AC soon after it was serviced

My AC was working OK but I knew it was most likely low on R134. About 3 weeks I took my XJ to the mechanic and he checked out the compressor and filled up the r134. The AC worked great after it was serviced. I used the AC a few times and it worked fine. Yesterday I turned on the AC and it blew out warm. The compressor seems to be working normally. What could be the problem?

I foundout today that I don't have any r134 left in my AC system. Is there a common place I should look first for a leak?

Condenser in front of radiator. Put some stop leak in or dye and look for leaks. I had same problem and replaced the condenser and its been working for 2 years (Fingers crossed...lol)...Tj

I would take it back to the guy that worked on it last.

He's the one that foundout I had a leak. I did not have the time to leave vehicle with him tonight. He's going to look for the leak the next time I have a chance to bring it in. I just wanted to give him somewhere to start looking.

If it's the Condenser, is there a type that works better than others?

I would also check the shredder valves for leaks. After they have been used they sometimes stick or the seals have just worn out.

there will be a greasy residue from where it leaks because it attracts road junk, grease, etc.

All I can do is smile. I fix one thing and two more things go wrong. Eventually I'll have a brand new XJ. I love my XJ and I love not having a vehicle payment. But my XJ is nickel and diming me to death.
