If the pin has fallen then that's probably your electrical issue.

Thats what I'm guessing but would that actual cause the ac compressor to not cycle on?

[quote=hallman;2480826]I jumped the low pressure switch. The clutch on the compressor didn't engane. I used the thread RTorrez referenced and that seems to be for a new than 95 xj. My evap can was lower in the bay and my switch wad on the side not top. Weird thing is I was considering running a toggle on the e fan and when I just tested the fan straight wired to the battery it didn't come on. But if you recall the fan does work as tested at the relay. I'm gonna check refidge level and go from there. I was just trying to come with the cheapest solutions before I spent anything on r134.[/quote.http://www.lunghd.com/Tech_Articles/..._Diagnosis.htm

That's a very useful page. I'll be reading and trying it very shortly. Thank you freegdr

Still in the same boat. I fixed the relay plug issue. Now the relay sits nice and snug. I jumped the low pressure switch, with a paper clip, and the compressor never turned on. The gauge for the 134 is still the same as the photo. I'm still at loss with this thing. Any other advice?

Not following the press switch plug but when the lps is connected u can hear that a load placed on the engine causing the mech fan to speed up. It does the exact same thing when I run a jumper.

Not safe if pressure switchs are not in use from direct wiring with switchs....

I gotcha. I have an inline fuse on both the fan and the ac compressor.
