Default No 4 Low. What gives?
A friend just bought a 93 XJ with no records and 4 Low doesn't work. 2 and 4 high work great though. What can we track down? He has an auto trans and the 4.0 has about 175k.

What exactly is it doing? Tried engaging 4lo in neutral? Check the linkage to make sure it isen't binding on anything
