Hell ya brother, can't cut corners up in the great north woods. So many Jeeps up here in the bone yards with running motors and swiss cheese tubs.

Tell me about it! My 2000 XJ only has 149K on it and had to be welded in 4 places to make it road worthy. The engine runs like a Swiss watch and doesn't use any oil between changes, but it may last another year before something underneath breaks that can't be fixed. I backed into a pipe stanchion and the trailer hitch broke off! They fill those things with concrete, you know. I now have a nice divot in my rear bumper.

I am concerned for your safety. Is the rust really that bad?
