Hey all, just purchased a new set of nexen roadian mt's from Walmart. 110 a piece, shipped to your local store for free. All for 476. Shipping only took three days. Anyway, I'm gonna mount and balance em tonight after work.

My question is, are you guys interested in how these suckers ride and do in the mud? For 110 a pop, they sure look good. Let me know, if yes, I'll update. If no, I'll keep my opinions to myself.

I just got 235's. I'm pretty sure they only come in LT's too.

They don't look like an M/T to me. Look more like an A/T. But hey, the price is pretty good.

The Nexen Rodian A/T II's hold up well. I used to run a daily newspaper route and mine have @ 48,000 miles on them at just under half tread. Nexen's are made by Cooper, I think.

Well they mounted and balanced perfect. Very little road noise compared to my previous tread wright crawler mt's. I mean those suckers howled at all speeds. I only hear road noise at speeds above 70 mph with the nexens. I'm pleased so far, and they look good.

They come with 17/32 tread also. I drive close to 400 miles a week, so more to come soon.

Nexen is South Korean. They've been making tires since the 1950's, although not under the Nexen name. They are not bottom-tier tires like so much Chinese stuff, they seem to review pretty well, even by consumer reports. It'll be interesting to see how they work for you on the XJ.
Out of curiosity, what sort of life did you get out of the Treadwrights?

We put nexens on about every used car that comes through our doors. People seem to like em. But, the tread wrights... I'm mixed. I had a blow out on my right rear with one, they lasted maybe 12k. (I rotated and balanced with every 3k oil change) They are a pia to balance. I'm not a big fan, but I was broke at the time and 80 bucks a pop worked for me.
