Thats the 1st thing I am going to replace is that Dana 35, hopefully I can find a 44 out of an XJ here in the next couple weeks.

If you cant find a XJ44 you could always throw in a post 96 c8.25.

I vote Ford Exploder 8.8 , but you will need some welding skills to accomplish that switchover. Don't forget to match your gear ratios.

Actually I found a Dana 44 that a buddy of mine is willing to sell me out of his rolled XJ ($100) so hopefully here in the next week or so I can get it in there. That solves that issue.

Don't forget the gearing must match to use 4WD. If you fail to match them then you will really break things like u-joints, transfer cases or drive shafts, all are possible weak links when mismatched gearing occurs.

From the pics the Wart Hog looks like a bad a$$ rig. I think some JY dana 60s and at least 38" rubber has to happen to make it look happy!! 3K, NO ****!!NICE RIG DUDE!!
