Incorrect lower control arm length (too short) means the axle is too far back and that will cause the spring to bow forward.

^ even if its got rustys adjustable upper and lower control arms? to me it looked like it sitting in the center of the wheel well.

also who makes 5.5" lift springs? thats supposedly the lift on the truck.

Adjustable is fine provided that they are adjusted to the correct length.

FWIW, 5.5" on short arms is going to be really hard on the kidneys.

Based on what I'm seeing in these pics, your axle is too far back.

ill check into it. its sitting the way it was when i bought it minus whats going on with the spring. the control arms on it are adj and i havent messed with em. i thought everything was sitting where it needed to be as far as axle placement goes. guess ill have to find a local jeep guru and get him to check it out. thanx for all the help frankz and everyone else too.
