Default New Windshield

I have a crack all the way across my windshield so I am going to get it replaced. The windshield place quoted me $175 and claimed that I was getting a great deal. Is this a good price?

Thanks for that question. I've got the same issue, but my is about half way across, out of the field of driving view. I'm waiting for it to get bigger before replacing. I have replaced front windows in mini-vans, they usually run about $300.00.

I do know that at this price I would be getting an "American made glass" instead of Chinese. Its supposed to be a good thick piece of glass.

I do not think that is a bad price, and the class has to meet safety standards.
I replace mine myself with one from the jy,total cost was $50. Takes a little time and patience.

I check 4 of my vehicles all the glass was different markings, I do not know where the windshield was made. It may be a labor cost in stalling glass in different parts country. I would ask where glass is made.
