Default New stereo mount help

I got a 96 Cherokee and I bought a Sony head unit the other day. I wired it up good and put it in the new mount but when i put the dash back on the new radio sits to low and the dash covers some of the buttons and looks cheap. It also blocks the slot on the upper right hand side to snap the dash back in. Any body else have this problem or got any advice?

You're dash adaptor should have slotted holes where it screws in to the stock holes.... You can adjust it however you need to via these holes.

Try flipping the mounting bracket. The 2 mounting holes are off center and will cause it to sit lower if mounted upside down.

I slotted mine because, it was off just a hair. Now it sits in the dash bezel just right. Looks like it belongs there.
