Question New to the site... Couple of questions

Hey everyone,

I'm new to the site and I'm looking at a 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport and I wanna lift it 4.5". I'm wondering if I can tuck 35's without major mods? Will I need to extend the brakelines??? Also whats better... the Hydro 8000 from RC or the Nitro 9000 from RC??? Is a replacement steering stabilizer necessary? and should I get new leafs or an add-a-leaf???

Heres the link for the lift kit with new Leafs:

Heres the link for the add-a-leafs:

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated

The 2000-2001 xj heads (#0331) have a weak point that some times cracks. Make sure the xj your looking at is inspected for milky stuff under (inside) the oil filler cap and/or have a shop that is familiar with the issue inspect the xj.
Other symtoms are coolant loss/unexplained rise in oil level. Those two are hard to judge untill you take ownership. If the jeep never over heats this head may never give you trouble but it's something you need to be aware of.
search 0331 or look here:

no info on lift kits, sorry

For the 35s you will need to get some wheels with at most 3.75" of back spacing, trim your fenders, and bumpstop. I vote go full leaf packs, for the brake lines look in the junkyard swap thread, several vehicles stock lines will provide what you need for a good price even buying new ones from a parts store. Hope this Helps
