New Rear Brake Pads, Drum, Hardware and having issues
Today i installed New rear brake pads and drums and all springs and hardware on my 2000 XJ Limited. When we were all done putting the new pads and hardware on we went to put on the new drums and they were tight installing them over the new pads, really tight! Even the tensioner being adjusted all the way down. So after complete install and bleeding the brakes we went to take it for a short drive and it acts like the parking brake is on the entire time when its not. Any idea's guys? I double checked the pads and drums and they are correct size. Where did i go wrong? Should i just take my new drums in and have the turned? Thanks in advance and yes i did do several searches.
Need to make sure the parking actuator is not hung up. Also make sure the cross bar is installed correctly.
Make sure you pry the shoes away from the backing plate so they seat completely against the top pin.

Just looked online and when i do a search for rear drum's on the chrysler parts site it only list the 9" drums and the ones that were on my XJ were 10". Does anyone else have a 2000 XJ with the chrysler 8.25 rear end that can remember what rear drums they have?
