I have a 95 xj, 4.0l with a plastic radiator that split. i intend to replace it. i have a few questions. Will i have to remove the oil/tranny cooler to replace it? Any special tools required? I will do it this weekend, any tips from the pros? thanks.

x2 on new hoses while your in there. I found that taking the actual grill assembly off makes life easy. Four 10mm bolts, two on top and two beneath and behind the headlights. Lights wire harness under air box to just unclip and that should be all there so you can remove. Make swapping all my radiators in my xj much nicer. It will also allow you to get around anything you aren't sure you want to disconnect. Also get yourself a set of torx bit drivers for a ratchet. you will need T20 if i remember for some of the bolts on the top of the radiator itself. hope this helps.
