Hey,
I have had a new Radiator for my 86 cherokee delivered but it does not have the lower mounting post on the rad. It is the one that would typically go into the hole on a mount attached to the body but the post is not there.
Does Anyone have any idea how to mount this?
The 86 is different to the 95's and newer that have the two posts on lower rad tank that slots into lower rad mount.

I you have an good radiator repair shop close by, they'll be able to do the modification for you.
The shops around me are very capable.

 

I had to reuse a part of my old radiator and fit it to the replacement, can you do that ?

 

I am confused here.
I understand missing one of the two posts, at least I think I do (LOL), on the bottom.
But don't understand the difference in radiators cause under the impression one size fits all.
So have to assume the radiator is just defective cause of the missing post.
